Our team recently completed an underground main electrical service upgrade in Toronto, Ontario. The process included hydrovacing the trench, installing heavy wall PVC 4" conduit with concrete on the 90° bend below the new meter base, and passing civil inspection. After backfilling, we returned to upgrade the existing panel, install a new meter base, conduits, expansion couplings, new ground, and bond gas line.

Our team has successfully completed another same-day disconnect/reconnect project! We removed our existing temporary electrical service and pole, prepped for the new 400A electrical service. We Installed a new permanent 35` class 4 utility pole and anchor. We passed our ESA inspection mid afternoon and Hydro came back later to connect.

It was a pleasure collaborating with JCC Build and Betz Pools on this beautiful backyard project in Muskoka, Ontario.

The electrical scope consisted of upgrading the existing underground main electrical service to 400A, reconfiguring an existing generator and wiring a sauna, pool and landscape lighting. We also completed the wiring in the new cabana and beach houses. Extensive planning is required on these types of projects. Not only are we presently wiring the backyard, we`re also prepping for future projects/expansion.

Our team completed a 200A service upgrade, same-day disconnect/reconnect.
We removed 2 -100A panels and 4 disconnects and installed a 60/120 circuit EATON panel.
We replaced the existing 200A meter base and patched the existing foundation penetrations with hydraulic cement. The existing hole was causing water damage in the basement so we installed the new conduits above grade.

Another project our team recently completed in Cambridge, Ontario

Months of planning and coordinating to ensure everything goes smooth for a same day disconnect/reconnect with ESA and utilities. Our scope involved upgrading existing 200A service to 400A, trenching 130 feet for a new underground 200A shop service, and disconnecting the existing 200A house service to mount on the new pole. We also replaced an existing hydro pole with a new 45` class 4 pole additionally installing primary insulators and two guy anchors. Lastly, the transformer was upgraded from 25kva to a 50kva, extending the primary and secondary conductors that fed the neighbors` overhead 200A service.

It`s always nice to collaborate with Pinco Power on another project at Lockwood KIA, Oakville.

This one was challenging as we excavated and exposed the existing feeder conductors without any interruptions to business. We cut the asphalt and trenched a 150` to the new temporary service location. Excavated a 4`x4`x4 splice pit, installed new DB2 conduits, and backfilled. Inspections the following day (sunday) and completed the new temp electrical room. Hydro came later the same day to energize.

One of our more recent excavation projects in Toronto, Ontario. We excavated for a new 30`x40` rear addition with walkout, side addition, and front yard addition.

In 4 days, we had site prepped, 25 dump trucks of soil removed and completely ready for footings. We were back 2 weeks later for back fill.

We love it when a plan comes together like a well-oiled machine. Excavate and remove dirt on a Monday, and crane the pool in place on a Tuesday. Water filled up later the same night and swimming the following day.

It`s crucial that the excavation is perfect to ensure a smooth install day. There`s nothing worse than having to re-dig by hand on crane day when the excavator is already moved to the next site.

Over the last several weekends and week nights, our team and subtrades completed minor renovations for HEAR Canada at multiple different locations. Our work was performed after hours, so we did not create disruptions during business hours. The clinics closed as usual Friday night and re-opened Monday as if nothing had happened.

We had the pleasure of supplying and installing another Generac Automatic standby at a house we completely remodeled last year.

This unit is a 7.5 KW generator that automatically turns on selected circuits during power outages.

Our Bobcat MT helped with delivery, trenching, and installing a 4x4` for support. This installation would have been 100 times harder and, most likely, not possible in the winter without it.

Reminiscing of our complete home renovation and additon project we finished last year. Our clients purchased this home with the intention of doing a full remodel. The first day we started demolition, we found the basement foundation block walls had cracks from the existing walkout. No header or lintel installed, which caused the joists to sag, cracking the foundation walls 1/2" from footing to rim joists.
.
We immediately had to change the direction of the demolition and focus on correcting the foundation walls, waterproofing the entire house, and new rear walkout. Cold days and late nights installing prepping tarps and heaters, all to be removed the next day. We`re grateful for our hardworking trades and the equipment that make things happen when it`s not convenient.
.
All in all, we were able to stay on schedule, and our clients were able to move in comfortably. This is what makes everything worth it.
